- Formal (Language/Style) – This is the style and wording which would be used in business, academic, and “official” writing.
- Fragmentary Response – A fragmentary response is a type of fragment sentence which is in answer to a question or is used as an interjection – but like a sentence fragment, is not a complete sentence, but is done-so on purpose because the meaning is understood. Examples: “Sounds good” – “Gottcha” – “You bet” – “No problem” – “No fuckin’ way!”
